Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo gained much celebrity from the TV series The Little Zoo That Could that followed the zoo's comeback after Hurricane Ivan in 2004. The zoo is a fabulous spot for visitors looking for something to do while at the beach. After viewing all the gorgeous animals, you can visit the petting zoo or have a private one-on-one encounter with a kangaroo, sloth or lemur on an Animal Adventure, zipline over the park, ride the carousel, or finish off your visit with a delicious lunch at the Safari Club.

Bragg-Mitchell Mansion Surrounded by a grove of stately live oaks, the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion is one of the Gulf Coast's grandest Antebellum Mansions. When it was built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg, the home was the center of the lively social life of the cotton port of Mobile. Today the mansion is the most photographed building in Mobile and offers a rare glimpse life as it was lived in the Old South.

Marietta Johnson Museum The Marietta Johnson Museum, located in Fairhope, Alabama, is dedicated to one of its most remarkable citizens, the revolutionary educator who founded her school here in 1907. The museum offers books, literature, artifacts, photos and videotapes pertaining to progressive philosophy of Marietta Johnson's School of Organic Education.

Mobile Museum of Art There are more than 6,000 works of art spanning two thousand years of cultural history in the permanent collection of the Mobile Museum of Art. The highlights of the collection include American art of the 1930's and 1940's, 20th century works by Southern artists, art of the French Barbizon school, contemporary American crafts, and American art of the late 19th century.

National Museum of Naval Aviation There are so many things to do inside the museum, including IMAX movies, motion-based simulator rides, lunch in the Cubi Bar Café, guided tours of the museum and flight line... you can spend an entire day here and not see it all!
