John and Susan Tour the Towns (Episode 18) On October 7, 2023, members of the U.S. Army Ranger Association gathered at the Flora-Bama to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Battle of Mogadishu. The event's name, the MOG Mile, refers to the length of the route used by Rangers during "Black Hawk Down" and participants run/walk 1 mile on the beach to honor those that fought in the incident.
